Values and Beliefs Take Center Focus at Rally
MYRTLE BEACH- U.S. Senatorial candidate, Dwayne "Duke" Buckner took his message of faith, love and courage to Horry County by hosting a Faith and Values Rally at the historic Myrtle Beach Train Depot in Myrtle Beach, SC last Thursday. Buckner asked the crowd of attendees whether or not their values and beliefs were being represented in Washington, D.C.?
"If the answer to that question is no, then its time to vote for new leadership," said Buckner.
"I believe at one point Senator Lindsey Graham represented the values and beliefs of the people of South Carolina. However, he doesn't anymore," said Buckner. "Senator Graham stopped representing our values and our beliefs when he threatened President Trump with "Holy Hell" if he fired Attorney General Jeff Sessions, and when came out in support for the expansion of red flag laws."
"Red flag laws are an unreasonable infringement on the Second Amendment," said Buckner. "As a practicing attorney in South Carolina, I believe that a judge that hears one of these cases will err on the side of caution every time and rule in favor of seizing or confiscating that person's firearm even if he or she may not actually pose a threat to themselves or the community," said Buckner.
"The U.S. Supreme court made it clear that you have the right
to protect yourself with a firearm, and I believe red flag laws would
take away that right from responsible gun owners."
